The Selmer Centered Tone is a professional-grade vintage clarinet produced by Selmer Paris in the mid-20th century. Widely regarded as one of the best vintage jazz clarinets from the 1950s, it is particularly well suited to jazz playing — its wide bore, powerful tone, and excellent keywork make it equally capable of early jazz styles and bebop. Players prize it for its "swing sound" and flexible, focused character.
