Pre-owned Selmer Paris Series III alto saxophone, made in France. These are highly regarded professional instruments known for their rich tone and precise intonation. At the time of its unveiling in the late 1990s, it featured an innovative design to create more resonance by reducing the amount of surface welded to the body.
This instrument features the original lacquer with beautiful floral engravings on the bell. The instrument shows very minor signs of wear consistent with regular use. The pads are all in good shape and the instrument seals top to bottom after going through a COA in our shop. It comes in the original hard case, which is in decent shape for its age. The next owner may choose to replace it with something more modern.
