Built for the music of today and tomorrow, the Supreme honors the legendary heritage of the Mark VI, the ease of the Super Action 80 Series II, and the precision of the Series III, while surpassing them all in acoustics, mechanics, ergonomics, and aesthetics.

The Supreme achieves something no professional tenor has managed before: the suppleness and tonal warmth of the great vintage instruments, combined with the flawless intonation precision of the modern era. From a barely audible whisper to a commanding wail, its dynamic range is truly limitless — making it equally at home in jazz, classical, commercial, and contemporary performance.

Sound & Intonation

At the heart of the Supreme is a completely redesigned neck and bell bore. The elongated bell produces a richer, more precisely pitched lower register, while new tonehole sizing, heights, and redesigned key cup diameters minimize interference with the exiting air column. The result is the most accurately intonated Selmer tenor ever made — consistent, responsive, and effortless across every register.

Ergonomics & Playability

The Supreme defies the natural inertia of the tenor saxophone, offering a genuine sensation of lightness the moment it enters your hands. A repositioned strap ring redistributes balance naturally. Redesigned side keys sit closer together for smoother transitions. A hinged toggle on the left-hand pinky keys eases movement between notes, while rollers on the low F# and G# add mechanical fluidity. The innovative three-point concentric neck tenon provides a more even, secure seal — ensuring consistent response and lasting precision over time.

Craftsmanship & Finish

Every Supreme bears a distinctive engraving design that blends traditional Selmer floral motifs with molecular cubic forms — evoking energy, projection, and movement. Available in Dark Gold Lacquer, Silver Plate, Black Lacquer, Gold Plate, and Solid Silver.
